Well-fitting N95 masks offer the highest level of protection from COVID-19, according to the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). On Jan. 19, the White House along with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that they would make 400 million N95 masks from the National Strategic Stockpile available to the public for free. The County Health Department’s COVID-19 testing site at the Bunker Hill Fire Station is now open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Free rapid and PCR testing is available to County residents, regardless of insurance coverage.
 
Our new COVID-19 testing site at the Temple Hills Community Center opened on January 13th. Free testing will be available to County residents Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on a walk-in basis only. No insurance is needed. Click here for more information.

Based on the latest CDC guidance, our County Health Department is now offering Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 boosters for all adults ages 18 and up.
