As you may know, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is globally impacting communities in countries across the world and has made its way into the State of Maryland with 114,078 confirmed cases, 27,245 of which are in Prince George’s County, and 3,679 statewide deaths as of September 10, 2020. Out of concern for the safety and well-being of staff, residents and visitors, we will be following the guidance of the Governor’s Office and will be restricting public access to all Town buildings, effective immediately until further notice. During this time the Town will remain open with a modified staffing schedule with no interruption to Town services. Additionally, we will be suspending all Town events or youth-related programs until further notice.
